This one time in Portland....
Update to the primer: I found that I own the Sephora brand Primer. Yes I found. I had completely forgot about it. It's gross how many products I have. So stay tuned to a blog post on that! This weeks post is about Laura Mercier Tinted moisturizer. This is my number one favorite product in the whole world! I found this product in the must haves in one issue of Glamour last year when I flew to Portland to see my soul sister. Finding it became my mission on that trip! So the next day I went to Saks and the gal there color matched me and I was on my way. Skip forward to the next day when I went to apply it my face seemed I had colored it with chalk. That's how white I was. All was well since we were headed to Nords that day so I was not honest {sorry mom} and took off the little sticker that department stores apply and acted stupid at Nords as to where the sticker was so we didn't have to trek back downtown to Saks. They were fine switching but put the one I was returning in with the other products I purchased so I was still stuck with the really pale girls tinted moisturizer. We then went home so the soul sister could step on the bottom of a rake that came up and hit her in the head, I slammed Mr. B's large bouncy ball into my face and met a guy in the backyard that would go on and brutally murder his girlfriend in the coming few weeks. So the next day here I am still stuck with the white tinted moisturizer so we decided we would head downtown to Saks... Where the girl was just in disgust of why someone would give my that color but wants to know where the damn sticker is! So fast forward I now know my color and don't have to deal with color matching anymore! If you buy any product make this your number one. It cost about forty six dollars for 1.7oz! It also is Spf 20! I put my regular moisturizer on under so I can use less of the tinted and it gives it a little more "slip". I wear it alone or put it under concealer and studio fix. If your looking to get it in Boise the only place that I have found that carries this brand is where else Sephora. The last time I was in there, they had a sample size of 1oz for $20.00 or you can get the 1.7oz for $46.00. You do the math the smaller one is the better deal but I think they only had two colors in that size one happened to be mine! Go buy this product! You can thank me later. Ps I have tried both the oil free and regular. I am not partial to either!

So Fresh
I bought this combo set made by Fresh. The set includes a primer and glow. It costs ten dollars and I happened to have ten dollars left on a gift card to Sephora from the lover. I had never tried this brand before, knew nothing about it, but have always wanted to try a "primer". To be honest I couldn't tell a difference and thankfully it was only ten dollars. I am going to try and use the primer under my usual makeup and see what I think. I have heard Smashbox has a nice primer that I would like to try. So ladies primer or no primer?

Aveda... Love it or leave it?
Hey everyone! Hope your weekend has been as nice as mine! I visited Graeber and Co. for the first time for an eyebrow wax and picked up some shampoo and conditioner while I was there. Shampure to be exact. It's my soul sisters favorite. To be honest... My hair was a rats nest after I washed and crunchy {which isn't the usual} after I blow-dryed. But it smells amazing! If I had the choice to love it or leave it... I would leave it. Do you love it?

Salsa Skin and Meltdowns
So this is my first EVER blog post... They will get better I promise! Since becoming a "stay at home aunt" I have fallen in love with the Today Show. Every week there's a gal that has a segment called "Jill's Steals AND Deals." I personally love a deal! I made a huge family dinner this past weekend of Taco Soup! I had to run to Fred Meyers and buy more Salsa so I bundled up Mr. H so his mom could get a few things done without him... So back to me loving deals they had a two for five deal so I snatched up two Salsas fast forward to the parking lot my bag ripped {now switching to the cloth bags} A whole thing of cracked open Salsa was swimming around my feet! If I hadn't of had Mr. H with me I would of gone back in but instead I just stood there and cried and said some curse words {I know I am sorry Grandma} climbed into my sisters family car and drove home still crying because WHY? Two dollars and fifty cents was laying on the ground in the Fred Meyer parking lot. I love a deal and have become cheap and thrifty with my new budget and savings account I opened up today by the way! SO back to the steals and deals. "Jill" featured a product that I have been eyeing at the grossest place ever.... WALMART... I can't stand that place. Anywho, I will finally announce my favorite facial cleanser and moisturizer! They are kinda spendy for a grocery store product they run for like twelve dollars each. The thing with this moisturizer is you need to add a sunscreen! You can pick up a facial sunscreen in Boise at Dr. Lindie Bortons office. These products have a ton of research that went into them. They also can be used on babies with sensitive skin also can be used on someone that has rosacea, acne, or psoriasis! They are also unscented. But why do I love them? The hydrating cleanser feels like I'm washing my face with liquid cashmere and I have not broke out with a comedone since switching to it. My skin doesn't care for change. Any product that doesn't make my face angry gets an A+ in my book! Now onto the moisturizer... It feels like my skin is just drank a big glass of water! Who doesn't love that feeling? I always thought I had oily skin but I have changed my mind and it's pretty dry! So in these cold winter months it really feels great! These products also contain hyaluronic acid which helps the skin hold moisture. Just go buy them. You will be in love. They also have some printable coupons on their website! I hope you enjoyed my FIRST blog!
